Behold: The Gift
Our Story
The Behold Project began unexpectedly. After holding her infant grandson, Amber O’Brien wrote a poem for her book, Love. Always. Wins., imagining Mary, the mother of Jesus, holding her newborn Son for the very first time. To Amber’s complete surprise, a melody came to her for the poem, which became the song, “All Will Be Made Right.”
Behold
17 fresh new songs that tell the greatest love story ever told, sung by Nashville’s Top Christian singers.
Ponder the deep questions that millions have had over the centuries:
Who is Jesus? Is Jesus more than just a carpenter’s son? Why did he come into the world through a humble family and live among us? Come, wrestle, and be changed.

Amber O'Brien
Founder, Songwriter
Read Bio
Amber O’Brien is the founder, poet, and vision director of the Carpenter’s Son Project, a Christian music and storytelling initiative inspired by Scripture and centered on the life of Jesus and the Holy Family.
What began as a desire to tell the Nativity story through original music has grown into a much larger vision—one that follows the Holy Family from Bethlehem to Nazareth, through the ministry of Jesus, and ultimately to His Passion and Resurrection.
The project’s first album, Our Dream Is Love: A Nativity Story, introduced that vision through an original musical telling of the birth of Christ. The Carpenter’s Son Project is now continuing the story beyond the Nativity.
Before launching the Carpenter’s Son Project, Amber owned and operated a school, where she developed a strong instinct for identifying gifted people, building collaborative teams, and mentoring those around her. That same leadership approach now shapes the project as she brings together talented creatives who share in its larger mission.
At its heart, Amber’s mission is to help people experience Scripture in a fresh and meaningful way through music and storytelling, while building a project with the potential to grow into visual media, film, live presentation, devotional content, and other faith-based creative experiences.

His approach is simple: don’t try to turn an artist into somebody else. Find what makes them unique and make that extraordinary.
